How Do You Create Your Unique Selling Proposition?

Your business’ Unique Selling Proposition (“USP”) is a positioning statement describing what differentiates you from the rest of the market. It is a clear, succinct, memorable way of expressing to your potential customer the benefit of doing business with you.

You might think it’s too much work to create your USP. Believe me, it’s not if you want a profitable business. The only reason your public is uninformed about the benefits of doing business with you is because YOU haven’t informed them.

Most USPs fall into one of 10 main categories. They are:

1. Low Price
2. High Quality
3. Superior Service
4. Size/Selection
5. Convenience
6. Knowlegeable Advice/Recognized Authority
7. Customization/Most Options
8. Speed
9. Orginality/First in Marketplace
10. Strongest Guarantee

Take the time to craft a well-done USP and you have the beginning of the answer to your customer’s question: “What can you do for me?”

ActionCOACH Wins Stevie for Company of the Year

ActionCOACH Wins Stevie for Company of the Year

ActionCOACH once again took its place alongside such industry leaders as Apple, Constant Contact, Overstock.com, Whole Foods Market, Cisco and Groupon as winner of this year’s Stevie for Best Overall Company in the Business Services category

This is the third straight year we were honored as a finalist for this award and the second time we’ve won, having taken home the trophy in 2007 as well.

The Stevies, or American Business Awards, were created to honor and generate public recognition of the achievements and positive contributions of organizations and business people worldwide.

Their mission is to raise the profile of exemplary organizations and individuals among the press, the business community and the general public, so being named Company of the Year was quite an honor, especially when you consider the outstanding companies we were up against.

One of the longest tenured ActionCOACH Master Licensees in the United States, Don Schin, attended the Awards Dinner and accepted the award for ActionCOACH.

“Receiving this award on behalf of ActionCOACH is a great honor for me,” Schin said, “This award has special meaning for me because I’ve been part of the ActionCOACH system for so long. I’ve seen incredible growth in more than a decade as an ActionCOACH and I know, with our great team, we will continue to grow and get better.”

The award highlights the strengths of ActionCOACH as a franchise, the systems and the people. Everyone in the organization played a role in winning this award and that commitment to excellence is evident to virtually everyone that comes into contact with an ActionCOACH team member.

Anytime you win an award it’s an honor, but winning Best Overall Company means ActionCOACH is the best of the best, not just in our field or specialty of Business Coaching, but as a business as a whole.

This award is another indication that ActionCOACH is moving forward and a sign that our goal of a coach for every business will provide communities with abundance through business re-education all over the world.
